Your hosts:

Kim Hoegger, Designer, Professional Antiques Broker and French antiques expert,

&

Jane Satow, Chef Owner, La Cuisine Provençale cooking school in St Remy de Provence.

While in the south of France on a recent antique buying trip, Kim fell in love

with the beauty and charm of the historic village of Saint Remy de Provence. During her

trip, she stayed in a wonderful, quintessentially French vacation home and

threw herself into the local culture, taking in a cooking class from a local

chef, Jane Satow of La Cuisine Provencale.

As fate would have it, and being a

chef and restauranteur herself, Kim loved the classs and she and Jane became

fast friends. Jane is an American, living the dream of cooking her way

through Europe. For more than 20 years, Jane has lived in Provence and

traveled Europe, immersing herself in the culinary delights of every region.

She is a an amazing chef and now shares her culinary experiences through her

business, La Cuisine Provençale, in her charming French kitchen in Saint

Remy, where she offers authentic French cooking classes to celebrities and

travelers from across the globe.

Kim & Jane have come together to create a magical 5-day ladies' tour of

Provence, celebrating their shared love of French antiques, cuisine and the

refined Provence lifestyle. This tour includes their favorite places including

gorgeous markets, boutique and antique shopping, cooking classes in Jane's

charming kitchen, and French wine tastings.

It’s the best of the best!

This tour will be a fabulous time for all, and a lovely way to visit and shop

this quaint part of the world, expertly guided by Jane and Kim, together with

like-minded ladies who share a passion for shopping and dining.

This tour combines everything Jane and Kim love about Provence and the

French lifestyle. And best of all, they will be your hosts throughout your

adventure, sharing an abundance of knowledge about Provence, French

antiques, French cuisine, wine, culture and a joie de vivre!

The spring & fall are lovely times to visit Provence with cooler temperatures and a quieter time to explore without crowds, which is why we choose these slightly off season dates.

Note on travel arrangements:

If you are planning to spend a few days in Paris on either end of this trip, then we suggest you

fly directly to Paris and then take the TGV High speed train from Paris down to Avignon. The

TGV train departs from the Gare de Lyon which is a 30-45 minute train, taxi or bus ride from

Charles Du Gaulle airport. The TGV train from Paris Gare de Lyon to Avignon is 2 hours and

45 minutes.

From Avignon you are just 25 minutes from St Remy de Provence by taxi. The train can be

booked on-line through the sncf web site, and should be done in advance. We can help schedule the taxi pickup and will coordinate ride shares with the other ladies in the group.

Alternatively if you want to skip Paris you could fly into Marseille international airport, which

is about a 1 hour drive from St Remy de Provence - again we will help coordinate taxis for those who come into Marseille.
